Mission Statement
The Teach To Reach mission is to help every child, adolescent and young adult with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) to fully realize their own potential, personal vision, and passion.
The Teach To Reach believes that professional coaching while not a substitute for the traditional multi-modal treatment for ADHD, is a critical and highly effective intervention in the nontraditional learner's ability to realize his or her potential. At Teach To Reach LLC. we want every student with ADHD to have access to a coach. Coaching can give a young person the edge necessary to achieve his or her full potential in academic and other life pursuits.
Objectives
Our mission encompasses the following objectives:
to increase the number of students with ADHD who benefit from Teach To Reach coaching assistance.
to increase the numbers of qualified ADHD coaches trained to deal effectively with young people with ADHD.
to provide parents, young people, educational institutions, coaches, and others with a critical source of information about coaching and its positive effects.
to ensure that Teach To Reach coaching is available to all students regardless of financial means by providing scholarship grants and loans.
to document through sound scientific research the beneficial impact of coaching on the functioning of young people with ADHD.
to heighten policymakers' awareness of the effects of coaching on student dropout and retention rates and to effect changes in public policy to support widespread implementation of coaching across all age levels.
to raise awareness of the challenges facing young people with ADHD in order to increase diagnosis and opportunities for appropriate treatments in this group.
